The African Investment and Business Forum was held in Algiers, the capital of Algerian on December 3-5, 2016. At the invitation of the Algerian embassy in China, the Regional Manager Mr. Zhang Sicai, Algeria BC Project Manager Mr. Rong Yakun and the account manager from Marketing Department Mr. Wu Shuang attended the Forum on behalf of CBMI.
This investment and business Forum was held by the African Union, undertaken by the Algerian government and co-organized by African 24 Hours Television Group, which was for African countries. The purpose of the Forum intends to promote the investment and business activities in African interior, from the world to Africa, between Algeria and other African countries, and the scope spreads to whole Africa. The Prime Minister of Algeria Mr. Abdelmalek Sellal attended the Forum and delivered the opening speech. A total of nearly 3500 people from African Governments, the United Nations, NGOs, banks, commercial circles and research institutions of Africa were present at the Forum.
CBMI’s delegation well prepared and extensively contacted with the participants from all walks of life. They respectively participated in the main Forum, the Energy Sub-Forum, the Financing Sub-Forum, the Contracting Projects Sub-Forum, the Building Materials Sub-Forum, etc. Cooperation talks were also held with the Water Resources Minister of Mauritania, the Chairman of Algeria Entrepreneurs Forum, the Chairman of Haddad Group, the General Manager of Algeria GICA Group, the President of Algerian National Natural Gas and Power Company (SONELGAZ), and principals of more than 10 enterprises from building materials, electric power, infrastructure construction and other industries. Moreover, the delegation had an interview with the Algerian News Service. In light of the good performance in Algeria and Africa, CBMI had attracted participants’ attention which helped all walks of life having a further understanding of CBMI, showing a good company image, expanding the company's influence, and getting a good publicity for CBMI to deepen markets of Africa and Algeria.
